The incredibly prolific Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer take theme albums to their finest degree. Their latest follows the path of their previous Help Yourself! and recent lullaby series. Bon Appétit promises and delivers "musical food fun." It’s a nice mix of original ("Germs"), classic ("The Garden Song"), and a little bit of both ("A Little Taste of This, A Little Taste of That"). My single greatest reason for loving this album is their inclusion of Cheryl Wheeler’s "Potato." Audiences at their live shows have loved that one for ages, and it’s nice to be able to take it home.
